Oh la la...Look what's new!

A Little Boy & His Bear

This is Jacob and I have been photographing him since he was 1 week old! This past summer his family moved back to Texas where his Mommy was originally from and we miss them very much. They came back for a quick visit over the holiday's and I was able to get a few new shots of this adorable little boy. And boy did he grow....so much in such a short amount of time! Jacob really was not in to having his picture made that day but we still were able to get quite a few great shots. All these shots have an antique effect, which I think gives these images such a timeless look. A little boy & his bear. How sweet. I know he will be even bigger the next time I see him as he is quickly leaving the baby stages and becoming a little boy.

Imaging USA

I just returned from Imaging USA which is one of the largest photography trade shows. It had over 600 vendors and about 150,000 sq ft of show space. Photographers from all over the world gathered to see new products, get inspired by the latest trends, purchase new equipment, and most importantly be educated by the industry leaders.
I attended classes by David Trust, JB & DeEtte Sallee, Jed & Vicki Taufer, Yervant, Ann Monteith, Sarah Petty, Tim & Bev Walden, Lori Nordstrom, Jeff & Julia Woods, Sandy Puc and many others. I have learned so much my head just may explode! But the good news is I am ready to put all that knowledge to work so look for new products to be rolling out soon as well as fresh new images!
I can't wait to get started!

Welcome 2008!

Wow! I really can't believe it's 2008....where does the time go? I have been looking back at all the images I took over the past year and thinking about all the wonderful and amazing people I've met. An enormous THANK YOU to all my clients, thank you for opening up your lives to me and allowing me to document all those important memories.
I am looking forward to seeing you all again in 2008!

Santa's coming to town!

With Santa and the Mrs. On their way to Ponte Vedra this weekend to see all our local boys and girls at Sawgrass Village, it got me thinking about those reindeer. You know Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and of course Rudolf but what do you really know about reindeer? Well here are a few interesting facts.
· A reindeer can pull twice its weight for miles on end providing muscle power for the nomadic saami people.
· Their antlers are made up of the fastest growing tissue in the animal kingdom, growing up to an inch a day.
· Both male & female reindeer have antlers.
· Reindeer eat any vegetation found in the tundra; they have an amazing sense of smell allowing them to detect food beneath 3 feet of snow.
· Reindeer fur is also very insulating. It protects the deer from 80degrees below zero up to 115 degrees.
· Reindeer can swim faster than an Olympic swimmer at around 4 mph. Wow!
Well I’m not sure the reindeer will be making an appearance this weekend, they will probably be resting up for their big trip, but I hope you enjoyed a little reindeer fun – facts!

Photos with Santa

Come see us at Sawgrass Village this Saturday December 8th from 2-6pm.
We will be taking pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the gazebo.
This is a great opportunity to get a little shopping done while enjoying the holiday season.
The little ones can put in there special requests in with the big man while they have their pictures made and even take a train ride!
Hope to see you there!
